In 2010, we were approached by an Australian client with a unique request. Having served as a pilot in his past life, he had high expectations when it came to the packaging solution for his hair styling tools. Together, we embarked on a journey of four packaging upgrades that not only met but exceeded his expectations.
The Challenge
Our Australian customer came to us seeking a packaging solution that would reflect the high-end quality of his hair styling tools. He had a clear vision and high standards, which meant we had to deliver a package that was not only visually appealing but also durable and functional.
How we did this case
The Journey
1.Initial Design
We started with a simple white cardboard box, which served as a solid foundation for our packaging solution.
2.First Upgrade
The customer requested a black box with a white UV logo and red text. This upgrade added a touch of sophistication and professionalism to the packaging.
3.Second Upgrade
To further enhance the visual appeal, we introduced a colorful packaging design with printed product images. This made the packaging more engaging and helped showcase the product's features.
4.Final Upgrade
After careful consideration, we returned to a minimalist yet high-end black box design. The red text was changed to white, and a large silver hot stamping was added. This final design struck the perfect balance between simplicity and luxury, resulting in excellent market feedback, consumer experience, and brand power.
