In the production process of gift boxes, digital samples are a crucial thing. Digital samples use digital printing technology to convert design drafts into physical samples, providing customers with a visual and tactile experience similar to the final product. It not only helps customers better understand the design plan, but also promptly discovers potential problems and avoids errors during mass production.

In order to ensure the quality and timeliness of customers’ samples, we have relevant machine and engineer and designer team, which can help customers make sample better and faster.
Basic steps in making digital samples
1. Design draft preparation:
Everything starts with design. Designers will carefully make design drafts for gift boxes based on customer needs and brand style. This includes the determination of color, pattern, text and layout. The accuracy and details of the design draft will directly affect the quality of the digital sample, so special attention should be paid to this step.
2. Digital printing machine:
In the production of digital samples, the selection of digital printing machine is crucial. High-quality digital machines can accurately restore every detail in the design draft, such as color accuracy, line clarity, etc.
3. Choose materials:
The selection of different materials directly affects the final effect of the digital sample. Usually, digital samples are made of the same or similar materials as the formal production to ensure the authenticity of the sample. If the customer has special requirements for the material, such as to reflect a specific touch or visual effect, then special attention should be paid when selecting the material.
4. Printing process:
During the actual proofing, special attention should be paid to the color reproduction. Since there may be color differences between digital printing and mass production printing methods, multiple color calibrations will be performed during the proofing process to ensure that the final effect is consistent with the design draft. In addition, the samples after proofing should be fully checked, including whether the details such as size, pattern, and text meet expectations.
5. Evaluation and adjustment of samples:
After the proofing is completed, the samples will be sent to the customer for evaluation. The customer will make modification suggestions based on the actual sample, and the designer and technician will make corresponding adjustments based on the feedback. This step is very critical and directly related to the quality of the final product. Therefore, after receiving the sample, the customer should carefully check every detail and communicate fully with the designer.
3. Things to note during digital printing
1. Color management:
Digital printing and traditional printing have different color expressions, which may cause color difference between proofing and mass production. Therefore, accurate color management must be performed before proofing to ensure that the digital sample can restore the color effect of the design draft to the greatest extent.
2. Material consistency:
Try to choose the same material as the mass production for proofing to avoid texture and color changes caused by material differences. If the same material cannot be used, the customer should be informed of the possible differences in advance.
3. Detail inspection:
After the proofing is completed, be sure to conduct a comprehensive and detailed inspection, including whether the pattern and text are clear and the size is accurate. From the edge of the font to the layout of the entire design page, they all need to be confirmed one by one.
4. Timely communication:
During the proofing process, communication between designers, customers and production teams is very important. Any problems should be exposed and solved in time at the digital sample stage to avoid problems after entering mass production, causing unnecessary waste and delays.
